Miami Christian School’s high school program provides a challenging and supportive learning environment for students in grades 9-12. Our academic curriculum is designed to prepare students for college and beyond. The high school has an Honors track for those with a higher GPA and Scholars offerings for those with higher standardized test scores. Advanced Placement (AP) courses and Dual Enrollment programs are also available for students who meet the entry requirements. The faculty work closely with students to develop critical thinking skills, promote intellectual curiosity, and encourage creativity.
Elective offerings are often CORE electives and/or NCAA approved courses (such as Shakespeare, Great Books, Classical Literature, Physics, Comparative Political Systems, Psychology, Political Science, Western Civilization, Criminal Law, Constitutional Law, Legal Issues, Military Strategies, Botany, Human Anatomy, Forensic Biology, Marine Biology, Zoology, Statistics and Advanced Math Topics) as well as Engineering, Art, Band/Music, PE, Yearbook, Photography, etc. Free “Help Class” is offered after school each day Monday – Thursday.
Miami Christian School’s high school program emphasizes academic excellence, preparing students for success in college and beyond. At Miami Christian School, we are proud of our championship athletics program. Our student-athletes have the opportunity to participate in a variety of sports teams, including basketball, soccer, volleyball, cheer and baseball.
